kasane teto is a chimera utauloid who started as an april fool's joke in 2008. she was created as a fake vocaloid to trick people — but the joke was on everyone because she became completely real and beloved to thousands of fans!!

teto was originally designed by nui, and her voice was later developed as an actual UTAU voicebank. she has since gotten an official cryptonloid adjacent status and even a vocaloid6 voice!!

she's known for her signature drill twintails, her pink-red color scheme, her love of baguettes, and being absolutely irresistible to anyone who encounters her music.

01. she started as a joke and became genuinely iconic. that's such a good arc. the april fool who became beloved forever.

03. machine love is one of the best songs and hearing it makes me feel things i cannot explain with words alone.
04. she loves baguettes. i don't know why. nobody knows why. this is correct and good. i respect it.
